Mahindra and Mahindra Hike Car Prices

After Maruti Sizuki and Honda, it is now the Mahindra and Mahindra to raise car prices. The prices of raw materials such as steel, aluminum, rubber have seen a sharp rise of 25-30 percent since January 2008. This has added pressure to the already squeezed car sector which has been witnessing decreased new car sales.

Mahindra sources its materials from Indian vendors which were deeply hit. It will bring the new prices into effect from May 19.

All the serious off-roads and potential Scorpio buyers who were planning to buy these cars can go for it now.

  1. With the increase in steel and rubber prices every car makers is hiking their prices. With the increase in steel and rubber prices. hope price hike is not that high.q

  2. Mahindra is one of the many car buyers to announce a price hike. I was one of the Mahindra aspirants. But since the prices are likely to go up by May 19 , i would rather book one now.

  3. Mahindra's vehicles are overly priced. I think that a hike in car prices in not completely justified. Moreover, he is charging SR 21,000 extra. I wonder when auto industry is going through a rough patch, who would want to buy the car at such high prices. Everyone else is still offering discounts.

  4. Couldnt be written any better. Reading this post reminds me of my old room mate! He always kept talking about this. I will forward this article to him. Pretty sure he will have a good read. Thanks again for sharing this free online
