It looks like ultra-low cost cars are raining in
Recently, Renault-Nissan group announced its tie-up with Bajaj Motors to develop an ultra-low cost small car and pegged the price to $ 2500. Now, Hyundai which already has a successful stint with Santro, Getz and i10 will also launch an ultra-low cost car. The car is likely to be launch in 2012. Now the consumers not only has the Nano, but a line up of ULCC - Bajaj ULC (codename) and Hyundai’s ultra-low cost car are among them. Is three enough? We need more!

It amazing how one organisation can change the face of car industry. It is less than 6 month that Nano was launched and we already have three players in it. We do not know if many more are working on it discreetly.
Nano has some magic about it.
Thanks for the information. Personally I like the brand Hyundai so much. Now it will launch cheap car...I ll be one of the customer of the car.
Hyundai too getting in to this segment! hmmm Indian car market seems to blessed with small cars. Good for
Indian roads which is struggling to get rid of the traffic problem.
It looks like ultra low cost cars are going to the fashion statement of the next generation. Great big cars, they will not help save our environment anyhow. Studies have already shown that.
So if small cars are best lets go for that. People know that there is nothing like nature's wrath.
