Honda Reviews Annual Target

The sales performance of the company in the last fiscal year was not very good. Stalling production of 7th gen Accord is one of the factors. The company had stopped production in December. However, the company officials were aware of the rising graph of car ownership in India. But the market soon lost all charm and the auto sector showed a downward trend.

The fluctuating Indian car market has created thought lines on the foreheads of Honda officials. They now think that their earlier target of 90,000 units per year is not feasible. They are now set to review the earlier target and planning to replace it with new one. All of it is not very negative. The launch of new Accord has also created a positive effect on Honda sales. The reasonable price bracket of Rs 16 lakh to Rs 18 lakh, which is largely governed by SUV, will add good reason for Accord sale. Accord will be a breath of fresh air for Honda’s sales graph.

The new Accord will lift the sales graph high. Honda is a prominent company world over and will soon bounce back to the Indian scene. The company is here to stay and will bring in many more interesting cars to India.
