The new accord is bigger than its predecessor in every direction, obviously it’s a good thing because it has got more space, features & more importantly presence, but the question is how long are the manufacturers going to make their cars bigger. Civic used to be a pint sized hatch years ago, now it’s a full blown sedan. As the days go by, traffic has become big nuisance & bigger cars would certainly not help. Going by this trend the accord of 2025 would be as long as a Maybach 62. Parking is difficult & with more cars added every day, even rich people would go for small cars soon. Surely, cars are safer & better built these days, but they are becoming bigger & bigger which would cause even greater traffic problems. The solution is not to increase the size with every new model, but comply with the latest technologies. Sometimes being bigger is certainly not better, better buy REVA!

Even I agree with this point. If US buyers can go for small cars, then why not we?
Traffic problem is becoming like a nightmare to daily travelers. Small cars are like boom to this. Use of this cars could help to cope with the problem as whole.
I agree that bigger cars are not the need of the hour. At a time when US and Europe are dropping big cars fro small ones, India seem to be going in the opposite direction.
Greenhouse gases concerns all the living beings on earth. Surely The car manufacturers should take their responsibility more seriously. Honda needs to be more careful on what it sells.
