When Tata Nano was launched, Chairman of Tata Group Ratan Tata told that Nano had passed the crash test. There were no video clippings or reports that reveal customers under what conditions and parameters the ultra-low cost car was given the certification.
It is now high time for Indian car manufacturer to wakeup. They should focus more on safety standards.

I agree like other countries India should also look on to this. Common people have very right to know about crash tests.
Of course, in a country like India, the value of a human life is less than a car. While companies describe their cars ass a boon to human kind, the same attention is not paid to human life driving it. The lack of sensitivity needs some urgent surgery.
