Delhi pushes 15-year olds off road

It seems that the Tata Motors-Singur saga is far from over. The controversy arose over landowners refusing to give away their agricultural lands for the famed Tata Nano project. The Tata’s had acquired the land after acquisition from West-Bengal Government for the project. The company plans to start production of the world’s cheapest car Tata Nano from the Singur plant. Now the matter has reached Supreme Court and the court has directed the company to file reply within two weeks.

Several car majors and corporate companies are looking forward to the judgment on the Tata’s Singur plant. The judgment holds the future of building industries, while safeguarding the interest of locals will become a priority even if it goes either way.
