Indian auto industry is undoubtedly becoming a hottest hub for global players. Launching of new luxury cars, SUVs and sedans have become common these days in India by foreign car manufacturers like BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz in collaboration with Indian car manufacturers. Now, Toyota has joined this bandwagon by announcing the launch of Lexus cars in India.
Lexus brands have already captured the luxury car market globally and became hit all over the world including USA. Lexus is highest selling global marquee and will reach the Indian market through Toyota. Lexus cars are crafted with elegant design, powerful engines and superb interiors to woo people to buy these brands in India.
Toyota does not want to release any of the Lexus brands in hurry but will take at least a year to launch them. It will launch LS 450 sedan first and later on LX 470 SUV. Surely, slow and steady wins the game!
Demnd for cars in india is paving way for many foreign car makers.Almost everyluxury brand is present in india and it is time for Lexus to shine on the indian roads.Let us wait a for another luxury brand to hit the road.
I don't think Lexus cars will get hold on luxury car buyers in India after one year. Toyota's plan to wait for a one year to launch Lexus cars may prove wrong as every day a lot of changer have been taking in auto industry and different types of luxury cars from various manufacturers entering Indian market with a lot of attractive features. So Toyota should not wait for another one year to launch its car but it should do it at least within six months to grab the market.
It is amazing that Toyota thought that Indian was worth Lexus cars. Eventhough it will be brought by few people in the elite will buy, the technology will slowly trickle down to other cars as well. Overall it is good news that Lexus is coming to India.

After winning three out of the seven races so far this season and topping both championship standings, Red Bull’s dynamic duo of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber must be looking mighty tempting to any number of rival teams on the grid. But the most alluring, according to recent reports, could be Ferrari. For his part, Vettel is widely regarded as the personal favorite of one Bernie Ecclestone, who could be helping to broker a deal that would see the young German wearing red in the near future. Vettel, however, is on a long-term contract with Red Bull, leaving the possibility open for a few years from now.
