Nano may become further cheaper in India
Tata Nano may further become cheaper when it hit the Indian roads in next few months. The appearance of Tata Nano, world’s cheapest car at auto expo has stirred up Indian auto industry and stunned many car manufacturers who thought manufacturing of 1 lakh car was just impossible. It’s all history now. Tata Motor is again waiting to give one more surprise by further reducing the price of Nano.
If reports are to be believed, Tata has formed a team to find out ways to cut down the cost of its Rs 1 lakh car. If the price of nano come down further, buyers of this car will be doubled than present one as all most all families would own it by bidding good-bye to their two-wheeler. It’s time to cheer-up for small car buyers!

It is interesting to note that Tata Motors is making sure that nano is easily affordable by middle class of India. With this strategy Nano will sell millions in few years.
.This sounds impossible escpecially since the prices of all raw materials are shooting up. Many car manufacutures are also mulling on upward price revision due to steep hike in steel prices. I wonder who Tata can offer cheaper than Rs 1 lakh car in these circumstances
Instead of looking at making Nano more cheaper Tata Motors should think on more quality materials and safety features in Nano. The small car has a sleek body which makes it a no-choice for those how often make intra -city travells.
The price of this Rs 1 lakh car can be cut as the Indian Government has announced excise concessions for small cars. I don't think the rise is prices of steel can be a factor here in this segmant. With more makes now comming with similar priced models the prices in the segmant is sure to fall.
I don't think the price of Nano would come down further because I heard the car manufacturers are already crying foul over the possible of hike in steels and other raw materials. So dreaming of driving nano less than its price tag of Rs 1 lakh would be foolishness. I think it's all gimmick to create more publicity and get more and more buyers for it in future.
it is great news that nano will be cheaper than earlier announced. It is is good news for a large number of families who plan to buy the Tata Nano. It will have brought smiles on many faces.
