Maruti has been an impressive company over the years and it still remains a first choice for many people who look forward to buying small cars and mid-size sedans on a reasonable price budget. Now, Maruti has earned the reputation of being the first car company to train women in driving.
Maruti hit upon the idea of opening driving schools across the country and it has gone down well with women car enthusiasts. Their Driving school largely attracts women and most of the students are women. It has registered an impressive number of aspiring women drivers to learn the skills. So far, about 15,000 women have graduated from this school leaving the men spellbound. This is a really unique initiative from Maruti.

I am sure the women wanted to learn from the leader rather than a neighbourhood car training facility. And with an international training module they will surely bring in some kind of structure to training people in driving just like in the west. I am glad that the Maruti has though of it while others shrug their responsibility in this sector.
Looks like woman are more passionate about cars than man. There is a misconception that car cannot be handled by any woman and now with this figure of 15000 women graduating definitely need an appreciation.
It is interesting that women are taking up driving so religiously. No doubt that Maruti has the goodwill of people with it to become a success at such a large scale.
It has proved that women are not averse to driving, but they need proper training. That's all.
It is nice to know that women are interested in cars.Usually men boast about cars and think women no thing about it.Hope they read this blog and realize that women are behind wheels too
