Double-decker railway car carriers

Soon you will be able to transport your cars over long distances on railway car carriers at reasonable prices. Presently, the Indian Railways lacks the container facility and so has a very very small contribution in transporting cars.

Now, they are doing away with the conventional way of moving cars around on decks. They are introducing double-decker car carriers specially designed for transporting cars. They are trying to implement a car carrier project that is similar to the one in use in the US. They are currently testing the system and should finish the trial runs by the end of March.

Once these containers are ready, it should be pretty cheap to get your favourite cars around to most parts of the country.
