It is really sad to know that cars in india do not match the norms. If the goverment had taken care of this earlier that such issue would have never hit the car market.
It is amazing that cars will not meet emission standards. If government is really concerned about ambient condition, they should go ahead with it. They should not succumb to car lobby as they have done in other policies. I hope the norm is established.
Considering that Indian government has been lacking interest in such finer subjects like environment, this was expected. India has never been hard on any foreign company with rule and regulations. the same lack f enforcement will affect the fuel efficiency policy. This will only remain a piece of news.
