Tata’s Millionaire Baby!
Indica is truly a people’s car. Recently the Tata Indica’s millionth car was driven out from its Pune plant. The Indica is in great demand among cab drivers as we all know! And with the launch of the diesel version, the sales figure sky rocketed.
I drive one and vote for it because of its good power, space, and interior and also acceptable fuel economy. It is one of the best cars suitable for a perfect family of four. Of course, I sort of regretted buying it once the cab driver’s got into the act. Thankfully, the colour of my car is Blue.
But now that I hear that Tata has launched a compact Indigo car that looks like a sedan. I’m going in for an exchange. Of course, this time I’m gonna wait and see if this one becomes popular among taxi’s before buying it.

Indica is a great car. I have driven it and the fuel efficiency is great. I would recommend the diesel for all those who have small purse but big dreams for a car.
I hope Tata keeps coming out with more such India specific car for many more years to come.
Tata is in a full swing.. . Nano is still the talk of the town and tjhere comes another of tata's hit. It looks like Tata is truly becoming a 'peoples' brand.
