Online booking for cars is, surprisingly, a new revolution in Indian car retailing. A grapevine has it that Tata has plans to accept bookings for its upcoming hot car Tata Nano through the internet. Tata Motors is also thinking of calling for suggestions from prospective consumers on how to implement this process using the Tata Nano website.

It will be a good thing if Tata Motors allows online booking for Nano. It will be great to book a car like Nano through internet. It is amazing piece of news. I would however not agree that bypassing a dealer will do any good to the customer. The connection between the retailer and the customer is vital in for commodities like cars.
