India’s Pride – Say Hello to F1!
It seems India is making strides in the auto industry and is going to set records globally. I was watching TV with my 8-year-old son after coming home from work. My son suddenly started talking about Mallya and asked me who he is. I was really surprised to hear the name of Mallya from an eight-year-old.
I asked him why he wanted to know and he told me that his school friends were talking about Mallya’s race car built in India and he wanted to know what it was all about. I explained about the F1 car that Mallya was developing under the name of Force India. Then, I started switching channels remembering that the unveiling was supposed to happen sometime that day or next. My son and I watched Mallya unveil a sleek, stylish, and very attractive looking race car – the first in India.
First the world’s cheapest car and now this. India seems to be coming around!

India's entry into F1, is a remarkable achievement. It may seem a small step in the huge F1 business, remember Schumi advised his brother Ralf to distance himself from Force India telling him "it is not the right place for him". I hope that Force India turns into another toyota or Honda sometime in future.
