Hyundai has opened a second car plant in India
Every day, competition between car manufacturers to get a hold on the small car segment seems to be increasing. Small cars are obviously the most popular type of cars in India
Hyundai Motors just opened their new car plant at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu where they already have a plant. Their small cars Getz Prime, Santro Xing and i10 have been a success in the country. Without such success, no company would dare to start a second plant at the same place.

Hyundai seems to be going from strength to strength. After owning a Hyundai Getz have found that Hyundai cars have excellent maneuverability and driving dynamics.
I hope that it writes many more success stories than before.
Small cars are the bests suited for Indians. As already mentioned they are easy to park, drive and affordable too.Hyundai Motors second plant is the indication for their good growth in India.Their Santro still rules the road.
I think Tamil Nadu is heading towards becoming the most industrialized state in the country. I hope they the state manages to cater to the manufacturing industry needs in a more professional way. I only hope that it does not result in displacement of large population from their villages just like in Nandigram, WB.
