Car Modification is the New In-Thing!

Car modifications seem to be a growing business in the country now. The modification business is now worth several crores in India. My first car was a Maruti Esteem, which I modified with bright colors, fancy lights, and bumpers. I spent around Rs 3000 for these modifications. When you can get you car customized to your tastes and when modification can come so cheap, why not try it? I now own a Honda Accord, which is in the garage to add some personal touches.

Of course, modifications do not always mean fancy looks. I have a friend who took a used Baleno car and gave it some spunk with a modified engine and it gives me chills to hear it whiz by AND the pick-up and speed is awesome. You have to have original ideas, because cars do have limitations. For example, my Esteem could not be fit with anti-lock brakes, but I chose to use perforated disc brakes that fit – so be considerate to yourself and your cars limitations.

Starting with something small like changing the wheels and tyres of your car is always better! Go for it – reveal your personality with the car you drive!

Car modification is certainly very attractive. But there are just not many car modifiers who would help my dream come true. Most of the modifications are done by garage mechanics who have no thorough knowlegde on the subject.
I am planning to get by Maruti Swift modified make it look chic

Modification or re-designing the car is the new trend seen now. People like to add their taste to the car they drive. With few thousand you can change the looks of your car according to you choice.

I agree with your point of view on car modification. I have recently modified my Maruti 800 which was bought a few years ago. I replaced its headlights, bumpers with new one and also added good air conditioning system that suits well to its interior. After painting it with my favorite blue color, it seems like a new Maruti 800 that just hit the roads from Showroom. It is equally important that we have to be very careful while replacing equipments as some times the car looks ugly and odd if something goes wrong while modifying it.
