Beware of Fake Cars
Police rounded up a gang of 15 people involved in making fake cars in Rome , Italy . They were involved in making fake blood red Ferrari cars with counterfeit parts and few original parts. They sold the cars at a fraction to the cost of the original. Change the name of the car and country and you can find that it is a very Indian-type crime news.
Many garages are known to make cars with some fake and some original parts. They also make fake papers that look real. But if they are selling it at really low prices, one can be sure that it is a car without the manufacturers stamp. When we drive in cars, our complete safety depends on the manufacturing of the car. A glitch in the brakes or engine could prove disastrous to users.

There are some many people involved in such kind of illegal activities. It is very difficult to track them, so the only best option i see is opting for authorized dealer.Never buy a car through an agent.and if it is used car, then look for certified cars.
It is always worthwhile to buy a car from certified dealers and workshops. But even authorized dealers are known to use unscrupulous methods to make a few bucks. It is all a big network of thieves and police don't seem to care.
They have the means to support their wrongdoing. But what about the poor people who save money to buy cars. There is no insurance against it.
I agree with Delhi that there are many people involved. They are most often dismissed as petty auto thieves and no action is taken against them. Look at all the roadside garages, the y can get you a original stuff from no-where and fix your car. That's how easy it is.
Very true that the Fake cars are growing in numberes, recently my sister-in-law also faced the same problem. They purcahed a second-hand car, unware of the fact that it was a stolen piece and after about one year when the car theives were nabbed, they revealed their sales and finally they had to surrender the car to the police.
