Tata Goes Electric
Tata plans to come up with an electric car. I am happy to note that Tata Motors has considered making a green car for Indian roads. On one hand the company is manufacturing Nano, which is likely to raise pollution levels in India even though they claim that it has passed the Euro emission tests, and on the other hand there is a plan for an electric car. The company seems to be heading in all directions. It seems it is in a tearing hurry to make it big in the car industry.
Tata need to thoroughly think of a strategy to make good feasible cars for the use of the common middle-class man across the world. Electric cars have performed poorly in India mainly because of re-charging problems, low output, and absolutely no help as petrol bunks.
Tata needs to develop a performance oriented electric car if it wants to compete in this line of cars being manufactured.

Tata seems to venture in all the fields, recently they accquired every bodies attention with their one lakh car and now they are planning to come up with electric car.
If all the car makers join the race then we will beliving in greener India very soon.
I completely agree with Mr. Ajay, but along with car makers industries should also think of options to reduce pollution.and if everybody teams up for this good cause, then India will definitely be greener very soon.
Just when the going green concept has started making to news, Tata Motors have shown interest in building an electric car. Apparently, E-cars did badly in India due to re-charging problems. Auto makers may have to do a bit to rectify the issue.
