Suzuki model based on A-Star concept to be built in India
Suzuki seems to be gradually turning India into its production base. It plans to export about 1 lakh units of its new model that will be based on its A-star concept car. The new car will be unveiled at the Auto Expo in New Delhi this month.

This will be the first car under the Suzuki brand to be built completely in India and exported to Europe. The car will also be available to Indian consumers in late 2008. Whatever the economic side of this plan, brand Suzuki that has been synonymous with Japan will from now on also carry the Indian badge.

India is becoming the giant Japanese car maker Suzuki's production ground. Waw... really good to know that. India in truly getting into global market in all the sense.
