Pooja in showrooms

New car buyers in New Delhi are a delighted lot. Car dealers are now offering a pooja ceremony for new cars before they are rolled on to the street. Many dealers have hired priests for this.

Car owners no longer have to take their new cars to crowded temples and wait for a priest to arrive. The ceremony is now completed at the showrooms as a value added service. Dealers might have struck the right promotional note with this move.

  1. This may be new to the Delhi people but not in Bangalore.Mostly all car dealers do have a in house priest and befor the car is delivered, pooja is performed. A truly Indian way to start some thing good.

  2. Inidan like to start every new work or thing after paying obeisance to gods. Religion is strong influence on life of Indians. It is note to note that car dealers have at last noted this and are offering pooja services at the showrooms itself. Dealers are now forced to look at customer satisfaction as a way of promotion.
