Indian automobile industry is undoubtedly growing, followed by China. Even auto analysts say, it may just beat China soon. But wonder if the government has ever thought about how the conditions of the roads and traffic would be after 10 years?

Or can we do something without waiting for government to act upon? The best way to reduce pollution would be to buy vehicles that are frugal in fuel consumption. To decongest Indian roads, carpooling may also help! Though carpool in India is a new concept, yet it is catching up with the working class junta.

We can also try to lessen illegal parking or double parking to avoid road blocking etc. Government may act at its pace… Let’s all join hands to make driving a better experience for those who own cars, and for those who don’t.

Nice to see the mention of carpool in your blog post. It's a new concept, yet emerging and promises to decongest our roads!

carpooling is yet to gain acceptance in India. With the Indian sense of trying to always show off wealth in forms of car, Bunglow and gold. This concept will not catch up untill there is genuine threat of pollution in cities.
