‘Grande’ revealed
Tata Motors has launched the much awaited Sumo ‘Grande’, a new version of its popular MUV. It will be up for sale within the first week of February. The model will be available in two variants and both variants will be powered by a 2.2-litre DiCor engine. The Grande is styled to look like a SUV and drive like a sedan. Tata Motors expects the new model to increase Sumo sales by 30 percent.
The Grande will be priced between Rs 6.55 lakh and Rs 7.49 lakh. Tata can only hope that the Grande will bring back the grandeur that the Sumo once had.

I wanted to upgrade to a SUV from my present Sedan. I wanted to buy a product from Tata, but the boxy Sumo looked outdated and Safari Dicor is costly. I am happy that Tata Motors has come up with a upgraded Sumo with luxuruious appearance. The prices also could fit in budget.
