The Car that paved Volkswagen’s way into India
Of course I am talking about the Volkswagen Passat, or as the German’s would pronounce it Pah-saht. The obvious reason that Passat was used as a launch pad by Volkswagen was because it is globally the most successful car from Volkswagen after the Beetle and Golf. The car ranks among the top in Europe and is placed at number four worldwide. Definitely a great record to have when you want to launch your brand in an unexplored territory.
I saw a Passat pass by today and was stumped with gorgeous looks. I checked it out on your website and have also read the detailed review you have. It’s pretty cool. Do you have any idea when they will start building this car in India, so that the price comes down? Please let me know if you can.

Passat is certainly gorgeous car. it is a majestic exterior with a long and spacious cabin. I would love to own such a car one day.
Passat would definitely make it big to Indian market. It's already a successful brand from Volkswagen after Beetle and Golf.
I think Volkswagen is just trying to enter India, because it could not get a better country where skill and cheap labour come in such fine combination.
The economic strength has forced them to look towards this once poor country. The arrival of Passat to India is only the beginning and more luxury cars are yet to follow.
I recently saw Passat on the road, it is a one heck of a guy, i could not take my eyes off. Some time in future i would love to own it or atleast drive it.
I can't understand where can we accommodate a huge Passat on Indian Roads. The roads are already crowded with all kinds of vehicles, pedestrians and livestock. I would like to see an advertisement that shows Passat driving around in crowded Indian roads.
The luxury car in India has become a trend. Demand for these cars are growing every day.VW is one of the biggest car makers and i am proud to say that they think India as one of the best place for their cars.
