A real treat for sports car enthusiasts! One of the top global carmakers–Lotus Cars–is heading for India. It is in the air that the iconic car company is currently looking for dealers in India. It is expected to bring well-know Elise model. The model has a modified version of Toyota’s 1.8L engine being used in Corolla. Lotus also has plans for making available a more powerful Elise R.
Lotus General Manager Glen Moir is hopeful of Elise doing fine on Indian roads. He says that ground clearance won’t be a problem for it. According to him, the model’s ground clearance is similar to Porsche Boxter’s.
