Lotus on Indian roads
A real treat for sports car enthusiasts! One of the top global carmakers–Lotus Cars--is heading for India. It is in the air that the iconic car company is currently looking for dealers in India. It is expected to bring well-know Elise model. The model has a modified version of Toyota’s 1.8L engine being used in Corolla. Lotus also has plans for making available a more powerful Elise R.
Lotus General Manager Glen Moir is hopeful of Elise doing fine on Indian roads. He says that ground clearance won’t be a problem for it. According to him, the model’s ground clearance is similar to Porsche Boxter’s.
