Hyundai India stopped the production of Elantra in India
HMIL has recently said that the production of their Elantra sedan in India has been stopped completely. The car was not a success story in the Indian market. Elantra never made it to the top sales since its launch in India. Indian public chose Honda and Maruti instead of Hyundai.
HMIL is planning to introduce another model in Elantra’s place. Hyundai Motors India Limited is now considering giving Sonata Embera a touch-up, so that it can give a nose-to-nose competition to the other models from different manufacturers.
For now, HMIL has great plans for the launch of Hyundai Pa, which is scheduled for sometime next month.
