Ferrari to cruise on Indian roads by 2008
Ferrari, the Italian car maker, is all set to start its own dealerships in India by early 2008. As part of the existing Tata-Fiat alliance, the launch of Ferrari will be under the navigation of Tata Motors.
The world’s favorite sports car - Ferrari will zoom into India’s exclusive sports car market, which is currently dominated by Porsche. Fiat and Tata had earlier announced ambitious plans to manufacture cars and engines under a new 50:50 joint venture between the two companies. Fiat, the parent company of Ferrari, also plans to launch Maseratti and Alfa Romeo in India in coming years.
