When it comes to buying a car, Maruti Baleno is always deemed as underrated four – wheeler until a few years back. In fact, none preferred to buy the car when it was launched in India due to exorbitant price.
In a country like India, the automobile company can’t set a high price especially when it zeroes in on the middle class Indian families. As an effect of it, the company had to reduce the price. The cut in price has increased the demand for Maruti Baleno, and sales picked up.
Recently, the company launched the New Baleno LXI, and hopes to lure the large segment of the Indian consumer. Of course, Maruti is determined not to make the same mistake with the New Baleno LXi.
The new Baleno LXi is priced at Rupees 5.60 lakhs. That means, the new Maruti Baleno is competitively priced – around the price of the Hyundai Verna and lesser than the top end Honda City models – hey that’s good news for Maruti cars’ lovers.
Today, all automobile companies have kept their fingers crossed, as what the budget 2007 will have for them. There is clue from an authorized source that the government has decided to reduce 10% custom duty on all Big and imported cars.
It’s to be seen how Maruti Udyog reformulates its marketing plans after the budge 2007. But as a great fan of Baleno, I wish you all to have a look at the model I possess. Something in its chunky outer-looks appeal to me, I prefer it looks wise to many other modern and branded cars.
The seats are the best in class – most comfortable with high class Air Condition. Average fuel consumption that I noticed for the 800km trip with more than 250kms on hilly terrain, with my three colleagues – Rajan, Rao, and Dipiti.
Dipti has just bought her new grey color Baleno LXi five days back, and is happily driving.
Take a look at my car I have owned. I’m sure, you’ll like it.
